40kW Solar PV Installation
CPSL Group were asked to supply & install 40kW of solar pv to the new sports hall at Rossall Independent Boarding School.
The 1844 founded school is situated in Fleetwood & boasts a 160 acre campus on the picturesque Lancashire coastline, Rossall is one of the country’s leading independent co-educational boarding and day schools, where boys and girls aged 2–18 are nurtured in a safe, secure and supportive environment.

The sports hall Is due to officially open September 2019 & will include: An indoor sports hall (six badminton court size) with provision for indoor hockey, basketball and cricket (nets will be fitted).

A four-lane 50m sprint track.

The install consisted of 124 x 325W solar panels to the new sports facility on campus. CPSL were tasked to liaise & work with other building trades to ensure a smooth & successful project throughout.
Due to the vast experience of our technicians working on construction based projects, we were able to deliver to the tight timescales provided, whilst complying with the sensitive environment of the school.
The install was completed April 2019 with the solar pv system projected to produce a payback time of approximately 6 years, saving the sports hall an average of £2000 electricity savings per annum.
The estimated annual output for the system was calculated at 28,509 kWh which will help provide free electricity for the sports hall.
